Ancient Chinese View of the Universe
ÒõÑôÎåÐÐ(YinYang WuXing) ÒõÑô Yin and Yang, the two opposing principles in nature, it shown as + and -. Applied to human, the Yang often refers to energy and masculine, the Yin refers to foundation or mother hood. Or Yang is the open world verse a hidden world, outward cast verses internal accumulation, the human society verses the hidden souls of the dead. ÎåÐÐ WuXing, five basic elements. They are metal, wood, water, fire and earth. Ancient Chinese considers our universe is composed by the five basic elements. Chinese medicine teaches physiology and pathology with the five elements, so do fortunetellers in calculating fate. YinYang WuXing is often used together to refer to every category of the world around us. We advocate this view in organizing our tags, thus the tag system is called 5StepTag, say it as 5-Step-Tag.

As a computational linguist, Liana Ye, the president of Y&D Information Systems Group, Inc. has been serving technology and trade internationally since 1990 as a translator and interpreter from the Silicon Valley in California.
